Thinking Development is a 100% volunteer-run organisation.
The Centre Rosalie girls' school complex in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. We're thrilled that the new Centre Rosalie girls' school complex opened in September 2015, after 5 years of community-led planning, international fundraising, hard work from volunteers, and local construction. A huge thank you to our partners Fondation Digicel and to our donors and supporters who have helped make this happen.

However, we need your help for the final part of our journey. We are fundraising to furnish the 2nd classroom block (opened in early 2016), repair the kindergarten and build a cost-efficient, industrial solar-powered kitchen, that will provide 1,000 girls a daily meal and train local young adults in cookery and catering skills.

We are welcoming donations, however big or small, and fundraising ideas.
Our ambition is to empower young Haitian women and engage their community towards a brighter future, by helping them build and design the school they need, that also addresses Haiti's wider vulnerabilies.
If you would like to support them and see the finished school built, please consider donating today.
