Thinking Development is seeking talented individuals to join our Board of Directors to help us to shape the strategic direction and governance of our exciting international development charity.
The Thinking Development crowdfunding campaign has just closed, exceeding its target and securing over 250 donors in the process.
The campaign ran for 40 days, from November 12th to December 22nd, and was hosted completely free of charge on the new crowdfunding platform, Zequs. The charity will therefore get the most out of all donations, in addition to collecting gift aid where possible.
The Thinking Girls crowdfunding campaign to build a flagship sustainable school in one of Haiti’s biggest slums has almost reached its target! Now it just needs a final burst of donations to get it over the finish line before the campaign closes on Sunday, Dec 22nd at 6.22pm. Help us over the finish line at bit.ly/TDGirls.
Over £3,000 has been raised so far in the #ThinkingGirls campaign: http://bit.ly/TDGirls. To all of you who donated, shared and continue to spread the word, you are fantastic! We are getting ever closer to building a sustainable, safe school in Haiti.
In July, the UK announced a new £7 million plan to relocate almost 20,000 Haitians from camps to safer rented homes. This gesture emphasises the need to tackle the danger and injustice of these living conditions.
