Cassidy Johnson - Canada

Dr. Cassidy Johnson is a lecturer in Building and Urban Design in Development at the Development Planning Unit at UCL, and has been supporting the project since its beginning. Her research is based mostly in Turkey and Bangladesh, and has focused on disaster response in urban areas, implications of forced evictions, solar energy, and, most recently, the adaptation to climate change in cities. Cassidy is also a founding member of Information and Research for Reconstruction (i-Rec), coordinator of CIB Task Group 63, and has written and edited publications on post-disaster reconstruction.
