Sadiqa Jabbar - England

I'm passionate about this project because it has the potential to make a lasting difference to the lives of the local community. However small the scale, every little detail of the plan contributes to the larger picture.

Sadiqa Jabbar is an RIBA I and II architectural and urban designer currently working towards RIBA III recognition. Before joining Thinking Development, she worked for 4 years and earned an MSc in Building and Urban Design in Development at the Development Planning Unit in UCL. Her architectural interest is in projects that benefit the community at large, and that have positive social impact. Her portfolio includes projects to socially integrate an urban slum community into the wider society in Delhi, research on community participation and land rights in Bangkok, and women’s rights to own and control land and property in Karachi.
